But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man) ~ Romans 3:5 -KJV
There is (at minimum) a 100% likelihood that God is not unjust. It doesn’t matter whether we understand the jurisprudence of all legal and moral questions or not. We can take comfort in the fact that His is always just. In actuality, we had better hope that He does not deal with us as a white hot and unforgiving refiners fire. None of us would endure except it be for His redemptive work in Christ. Whether his medicine is sour or sweet we can trust it and should take it. Our shortcomings do not cancel His perfection. They only help to define it.
God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world? ~ Romans 3:6 -KJV
God still sits in his rightful place as judge and is certainly not unseated by our foibles and failures or anyone else’s. And the Greek says He judges not only the earth but the cosmos.
